Affectionate is good. It's nice too, allowing him to nuzzle a little closer with a smile. It's still okay to be processing. He ducks his head slightly to press an idle kiss to Daryl's mouth before he settles again, perfectly content to stay here with him as long as necessary. "Necessary" being a given quantity of time in which he's just going to sort of cling to him, lazy and content and, most importantly, resting here with him.

It's important and soon enough they'll have to be getting up. For now: absolutely no plans to escape. After a while his free hand moves up to brush through his own hair--and stops partway so soon as he reaches a tangle, wearing an expression that can only be described as exasperated before his hand drops again. Whatever. Still not escaping, as tucking closer against his chest is far more important at the moment.
