This is a brave new world for Daryl, who has never experienced this particular Real Life Trope of incidental cockblocking before. Wasn't actually aware it was a thing, either, as he's only seen (and participated in) deliberate cockblocking (fuck, is this karma? already?). Wh...huh.

Daryl's expression is sort of hilariously stunned, standing there blinking in the aftermath of some serious mood whiplash with his hands still on Jesus's shoulders. He's looking at the door wondering how the fuck Rick could have just been conveniently absent until the very first moment in which it would be Very Uncool for him to appear, and thinks, well, he probably gave them their space earlier, and then heard Daryl had been out to fetch breakfast. This is probably an attempt at being polite, even. Oh. Okay.

He looks back at Jesus and slips his hands up from the other's shoulders to take his face. He kisses him, pointed but much softer. Alright, well. Well. This morning has been an experience.

Daryl will probably not kill Rick. Probably.
